Louise Rothman, president of the LEVYdance Board of Directors, has announced the addition of Olga Rodstein to its board.
Olga is currently Head of Legal at Electric Imp, Inc., a pioneering "internet of things" platform company with offices in Los Altos, CA, and Cambridge, U.K. Her colleagues call her “smart," "up-to-date," and "business-savvy.” She brings to LEVYdance a broad range of legal experience having represented technology companies in a variety of intellectual property, commercial, licensing, employment, and other business matters.
"I love modern dance, so LEVYdance very much appeals to me aesthetically," Rodstein said. "But every organization is ultimately about its people – and this really was the deciding factor for me in joining LEVYdance."
Olga is a graduate of UC Berkeley Law School and started her legal career as a commercial and intellectual property litigator in Silicon Valley and New York and then, until her current role, held senior in-house positions at global technology companies. She has also counseled entrepreneurs through the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Pro Bono program and represented artists and musicians through California Lawyers for the Arts.
"I am thrilled to be joining the LEVYdance family and look forward to helping the company grow and succeed even more," Rodstein said. "I am inspired by the company's unique creative projects and its incubator program that nurtures aspiring dancers. It is an honor to be part of LEVYdance's journey."
